Ty Gallagher has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins beginning with the 2025-26 season, the organization announced today. Gallagher will report to the team, associated with the NHL's Boston Bruins, on an amateur tryout (ATO) for the remainder of this season.
Gallagher, who transferred to CC from Boston University prior to the 2024-25 campaign, tied for second on the team with career-highs of nine goals and 26 points this season. He is fourth in the NCHC with 62 blocked shots.
The Clarkston, Mich., product posted 17 goals and 51 assists for 68 points in 150 career games with BU and Colorado College following two seasons with the U.S. National Development Team in the USHL.
Gallagher, who was selected by the Boston Bruins in the seventh round with the 217th pick overall of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, will join the team in Providence later this week.
