Colorado College's 4x100 relay team broke a 44-year old school record Saturday, highlighting the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invite in Pueblo, Colo.

The Tiger foursome of
Chase Marks,
Holden Perry,
Josh Williams and
Oliver Smeal finished fourth in the race with a time of 41.50, breaking the previous record of 41.70, set in 1981.

CC's top 4x400 relay team of Williams, Smeal,
Will Nakahara and
Rabbit Barnes finished second with a time of 3:22.57, while Barnes placed second in the 800 in 1:53.82, followed by
Matt Wells, who was 14
th in 2:00.88.

Will Shuflit placed 10
th in the 1500 with a time of 4:02.81, while Smeal finished 13
th in the javelin with a toss of 165'1.25" and while
Griffin Stewart did the same in the long jump with a leap of 19'6.25".

The Tigers also finished seventh in the 4x400 relay as Perry, Aidan Prezzanno,
Huck Whittemore and
Mack Levy posted a time of 3:32.23.

The Tigers return to action with a couple of meets next weekend. They will compete at the WashU Distance Classic, March 27-28, in St. Louis, Mo., and the Chuck Hearing Classic in Pueblo, March 29.
