The Colorado College men's basketball team had four players be named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, announced on March 25. 
 
Seniors Scott Ruegg, Edgar Romero and juniors Asher Nofziger and Orion Samikoglu were selected for this year's team. 
 
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at their institution, be a starter or important reserve playing a minimum of 50 percent of contests, and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).
