Colorado College senior Isabel Olson was named the SCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week after setting a school record in the 5K at the WashU Distance Classic last Thursday in St. Louis, Mo.
 
Olson, the reigning SCAC 5K champion, set a school record for the second time this spring, posting a time of 16:45.58, surpassing her previous mark by more than three seconds from the season-opening Oxy Distance Classic in Los Angeles.
 
She finished eighth overall and was the top DIII runner in Thursday's race and has the best time in all of Division III this season in the 5K.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, April 5, at the Jerry Quiller Classic at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
