No. 17 Tigers Head North For Final WIAC Roadtrip

No. 17 Colorado College travels to Wisconsin and Minnesota to close out conference play against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, UW-Stout and Augsburg. CC (12-2) is on a seven-game winning streak and is 6-0 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Play. 
 
CC will face UW-La Crosse on Friday at 4 pm MT before facing UW-Stout and Augsburg in a doubleheader on Sunday, starting with the Blue Devils in Menomonie, WI at 9 am MT, then a drive to Minneapolis to battle the Auggies at 2 pm MT. 
 
Last Time Out
 
The Tigers went 3-0 in Texas last weekend against UW-Stevens Point, Southwestern and UW-River Falls. CC outscored its opponents 62-6, including consecutive 23-1 victories over the Pointers and Pirates. 
 
Sophomores Sofia Mancino and Charlotte Iler led the team with 10 goals. Mancino had five points in back-to-back games against Southwestern and River Falls, including three goals and two assists against the Pirates. 
 
Iler put up a weekend-high six points, four goals, and two assists against Stevens Point. 
 
Player of the Week
 
Mancino was named the WIAC Offensive Player of the Week, announced this Tuesday. 
 
She racked up hat tricks in each game, including a season-high four goals against UW-River Falls on April 6. She finished with 20 draw controls, 10 goals and four assists.
 
This season, Mancino is second on the team with 34 goals and fourth with 44 points (10 assists). She has dished out five straight games with three goals or more.  
 
In The Rankings
 
The Tigers rank first in the WIAC in goals per game (16.07), assists per game (9.07), points per game (25.14), shots per game (31.43) and shots-on-goal per game (25.36). 
 
CC is 12th in the nation in points per game and 13th in assists per game. The Tigers are amongst the best in the country in scoring margin; they currently sit 11th with a scoring differential of 9.93. 
 
Goalkeeper Cassidy Schnaufer is ninth in the nation in goals-against average, surrendering only 6.11 goals per game. The junior is also sixth in the country with a 55.7 percent save percentage. 
 
Scouting The Opposition
 
UW-La Crosse sits second in the WIAC with a 7-3 record (3-1 WIAC). The Eagles have won seven of their last eight after starting the year 0-2. La Crosse most recently defeated UW-Stevens Point 15-8. 
 
UW-Stout is 6-2 overall (1-2), with its most recent wins over Mount Mercy and Stevens Point. The Blue Devils most recently fell to Hamline University 13-6 on April 6. 
 
Augsburg has played only three games this season and is looking for their first win.
