The Colorado College women's track and field team continued to prepare for the SCAC Championships by competing at the War Hawk Classic Saturday at the campus of McMurry University in Abilene, Texas.
 
Clara Lippert led the way with a three Top 10 results. She finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 17'3.5", eighth in the 200 with a time of 25.29 seconds and joined Zaniya Bruno Munn, Emma Jones, and Alina Miranda on the sixth-place 4x100 relay team. Lippert also finished 11^th in the 100.
 
Josephine Louis posted the Tigers' best individual finish on Saturday, placing third in the pole vault with a height of 10'4.25", followed by Asha Soni in sixth place at 8'4.75".  
 
Molly Vance followed Lippert with a seventh-place finish in the long jump (16'2.5"), while Erin Capell was eighth in the shot put (37'4.5").
 
Miranda finished 10^th in the 400 hurdles (1:10.53), while Jones posted a pair of 11-th-place results, in the high jump (4'10.25") and the 400 (1:02.15).
 
The Tigers return to action next week at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 16-18) in Azusa, Calif., and the Colorado Mines Invite (April 19).
