The No. 18 Colorado College women's lacrosse team travels to Georgetown, Texas, for a trio of games in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. CC takes on UW-Stevens Point and Southwestern in a double-header Friday slate and then UW-River Falls on Sunday.
Last Time Out
CC went 3-0 last weekend with wins over Chapman (18-5), Hamline (23-0) and College of St. Benedict (17-4). The Tigers outscored their opponents 58-9 and finished their home schedule with a 6-1 record at Washburn Field.
Against the Panthers on Friday, Senior
Peyton Murphy had all five of her points (3g,2a) in the first quarter as she led the team, followed by
Tobin Lonergan, who had four points (1g,3a). Sophomores Charolette Iler,
Meilani Molina, and
Sofia Mancino scored twice, and freshman
Emilia Calamari had her first career multi-goal game.
CC followed up with their first shutout since the 2021 season with a rout of Hamline—12 Tigers recorded goals, including Iler, who had four goals and an assist. Eight players had multi-goal games. Mancino had the fourth hat trick of the season and second in the last three games. Lonergan tied her career-high five assists and added two goals.
The Tigers celebrated Senior Day on Sunday by taking down the Bennies, led by Mancino's career-high four goals. Murphy had another hat trick and
Oliv Janerico had her second career hat trick.
Player Of The Week
Peyton Murphy collected her second WIAC Offensive Player of the Week award, which was announced on Tuesday.
The Austin native Murphy led the Tigers to a 3-0 weekend and racked up 17 points, eight goals and nine assists. Murphy had a hat trick against Chapman and a career-high five assists against Hamline, and she followed it up with her second hat trick of the weekend against CSB.
She is second on the team with 25 goals and tied for first with 43 points.

CC leads the WIAC in goals per game (14.82), assists per game (8.18), points per game (23.00) and shots on goal per game (24.09)
The Tigers are 17th in the country in assists per game, as
Tobin Lonergan leads the team with 2.09 per game (second in the WIAC).
Charlotte Iler is third in the conference in total goals and first on the team with 31.
Scouting The Opposition
UW-Stevens Point carries a 1-8 record into the weekend and is still looking for its first conference win after dropping the first matchup against UW-Stout in overtime 10-9.
The weekend host, Southwestern, is 1-7 and will play its first set of conference games this weekend.
UW-River Falls has the second-most wins overall in the conference, with a 7-3 record. The Falcons have won five of their last six, including five in a row from March 18-26.
