Five members of the Colorado College men's cross country / track & field teams were selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Team, which was released today by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
Rising seniors Rabbit Barnes, Axel Klomparens and Josh Williams, along with rising juniors Owen Shi and Will Shuflit, were selected as honorees for this year's team.
 
Barnes has been selected as an Academic All-America finalist. He will appear on the national ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 16, 2025. 
 
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® cross country / track & field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's cross country and track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at their institution, rank in the Top 50 in the region in a single event (XC, indoor or outdoor) and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 scale).
