A program record 24 student-athletes from the Colorado College women's soccer team were named recipients of the Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award for the 2024-25 academic year, surpassing the previous record of 20 set last season. Colorado College and Utah State tied for the most student-athletes named to the list by MW women's soccer programs.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic semesters at a member institution and carry a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

"We are proud of our players for the hard work and commitment they show in the classroom," head coach
Keri Sanchez said. "They have high aspirations both on and off the field and their dedication to academics is exceptional. As part of our championship culture, accountability in the classroom is a priority and it is great to see the success they are earning."

Alex Sandoval each received the award for the fifth time. Wessler and Sandoval finished their collegiate careers with a degree in organismal biology & ecology.
