The Colorado College volleyball team overpowered Concordia University (Wis.) in straight sets, 25-22, 27-25, 25-22, at Tarble Arena in Kenosha, Wis., Friday night in the first match of the Carthage Invitational.

The Tigers (6-2) completed their fourth sweep of the season, while Concordia fell to 2-5.

Carloyn Dormady and
Camille Sherrill led CC with 12 kills apiece, followed by
Brooke Brilliant with six.

After capturing the first set, the Tigers rallied from a 25-24 deficit late in the second, thanks to a kill and ace from Brilliant and an attack error from the Falcons to win the last three points of the set.

Colorado College jumped out to a 15-9 lead in the third set and never looked back in winning its fifth straight match.

Annie Joo led all players with 20 kills while
Meghan Gannon had a match-high 19 digs.

The Tigers play two matches on Saturday to wrap up the tournament, against 13
th-ranked UW-Platteville at 10 am CT and Carthage at 12 pm CT.
