The Colorado College volleyball team captured its second SCAC victory in as many days with a 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 25-15, win over SCAC-foe Concordia University Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The Tigers improved to 9-3 and 2-0 in the SCAC, while Concordia fell to 6-5 and 0-2 in league play.

Camille Sherrill and
Carolyn Dormady led the Tigers with 16 kills apiece, followed by
Brooke Brilliant with 11 and a match-high .476 hitting percentage. Freshman
Delaney Dorscht and
Julia Reusch each had five, a career-high for Dorscht.

CC jumped out to an early 6-0 lead in the first set and never looked back, while TLU captured a back-and-forth second set that saw the biggest lead of four points by either team.

The Tigers moved a 9-9 tie in the third set to a 19-13 lead with a 10-4 run, then scored 12 of the final 16 points in the final set to clinch the match.

CC's setters were on fire throughout the match as
Camden Goodman posted 23 assists and
Annie Joo had 22. Goodman also collected a career-high 20 digs, followed by
Meghan Gannon with 15 and Dormady with 12.

"It is always a good day when you win an SCAC match," head coach
Sharon Dingman said. "We are on and off the struggle bus and in the end when we needed to be good, we were very good. After three weekends in a row traveling, we are looking forward to playing at home next Saturday."

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Sept, 27, with a home match against the University of St. Thomas at Reid Arena, beginning at 1 pm.
