Hendrix was led by Joseph Dockett with 16 points.
CC finished with 18 assists, eight steals, and five blocks, and held the lead for more than 38 minutes of game time in a complete, balanced road performance.
"I thought our guys showed a lot of toughness tonight," head coach
Jeff Conarroe said. "Hendrix came ready to play, played very hard and sped us up. But we took care of the ball well down the stretch and got some big defensive stops. Our rebounding effort in second half was the difference in the game. Proud of our guys, it's been a long time since we got a road win."
The Tigers will look to go 2-0 on the weekend when they face the University of the Ozarks on Sunday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. MT in Clarksville, AR.
