Colorado College senior Alison Mueller-Hickler shattered her own 5K school record Friday at the Husky Indoor Classic in Seattle, Wash.
 
Mueller-Hickler finished the race with a time of 17:05.19, more than 90 seconds faster than her previous record of 18:35.70, which she set as a freshman in 2023.
 
She placed 27^th among 32 runners, of which 30 were Division I runners.
 
The Tigers compete in two meets on Saturday, the Whitworth Invitational in Spokane, Wash., and the UCCS Mountain Lion Open.
