Colorado College men's lacrosse junior attackman Aidan Niklaus earned national recognition Wednesday after being named to the USILA Division III National Team of the Week, following a dominant two-game stretch for CC

Niklaus powered the Tigers' offense with career-high four goals in each contest, totaling eight goals and three assists for 11 points while shooting an efficient .800 from the field.

He opened the week with four goals and an assist at Illinois Wesleyan on Feb. 13, then matched his career high again two days later with four goals and two assists to help lead CC to a 17-11 road victory over Aurora.

Across the two games, Niklaus also added seven ground balls and four caused turnovers, placing all 10 of his shots on goal.

His performance helped the Tigers secure a key early-season road win and earned him his first national Team of the Week honor.
