Colorado College opens the 2026 season Friday night with a road matchup at Illinois Wesleyan, marking the first of 14 regular-season contests on this year's schedule.

CC averaged 13.07 goals per game last season while allowing 11.43, outscoring opponents 183-160 across 14 contests.
The Tigers recorded 450 ground balls, 145 caused turnovers and cleared at an 83.0 percent rate (289-for-348). They also converted 31.9 percent of their man-up opportunities (15-for-47).
Junior attacker Matt Hudson returns after leading the team with 42 goals and 54 points in 2025. Brooks Power added 11 goals last season, while Liam Goodwin contributed six goals and three assists from the midfield.
Nick Johnson (1G, 7A) and Nick Bell (3G, 3A) provide additional returning experience at attack.
At the faceoff stripe, senior Trevor Mackles won 70 draws and collected 40 ground balls in 2025. Roman Tacelli added 31 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers from the midfield.
Defensively, senior Charlie Maier and senior Griffin Cusack headline the returning group. Jake Moshang was one of the team's most active defenders last season with 41 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
In goal, Jackson Lesher appeared in 13 games last season, logging 713 minutes with a 11.61 goals-against average and 154 saves. .
