Three Tigers Named CSC Academic All-District Selections

Matt Hudson advanced to Academic All-American Ballot

Three student-athletes from the Colorado College men's lacrosse team were selected to the 2026 Academic All-District Team, named by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Rising seniors Matt Hudson, Jake Moshang and Aidan Niklaus were named members of the team.

Hudson and Moshang earned a spot on the team for the second consecutive year, while Niklaus was selected for the first time. Hudson was also selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with honorees set to be announced on July 8.

The 2026 Academic All-District Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must have competed in 90 percent of the team's total games or started 66 percent of the team's total games and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.00 scale)
