Last Time Out
The Tigers competed on March 7 at the CenTex Invitational in Georgetown, Texas, for the season-opening outdoor meet, which was suspended due to weather after a couple of events were completed.
For the events that were completed,
Luc Santos won the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase race with a time of 9:49,93, while
Lincoln Brewer was fourth in the 1500 with a time of 4:15.98.
On the women's side,
Hannah Falk finished third in the 3K steeplechase with a personal-best time of 12:08.00, followed by
Liz White in fifth,
Ellie Ottem in sixth and
Emilia Weinrobe in seventh.
Abby Goulas placed fourth in the 1500 with a tie of 5:02.97.
Rabbit Barnes Finished Second in the Mile at NCAA Indoor Championships
Senior
Rabbit Barnes finished second in the nation in the men's mile race on March 14, at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
Barnes, who earned his second-career first-team All-America honor, finished the race with a time of 4:14.39, just behind Jack Brown of Central College, whose winning time was 4:14.01.
Barnes' finish ties the second-best in the history of Colorado College for a male athlete in an individual sport. Jordan DeGayner won the 200 freestyle race at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming Championships, while Julian Boggs finished second in the 5K at the 2006 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
