Colorado College is celebrating NCAA Division III Week by highlighting two student-athletes each day this week. Today's Division III student-athletes are
Amelia Karr (women's tennis) and
Sean Lam (men's track & field).
The event is part of Division III's Identity Initiative, which was introduced in 2010 to sharpen the division's identity and enable schools, conferences, and student-athletes to consistently explain why they prefer to compete in Division III. The initiative is guided by a strategic-positioning platform, describing Division III as a place where student-athletes can "follow your passions and develop your potential," through an approach that combines rigorous academics, competitive athletics and an opportunity to pursue other interests.

Each day this week,
two Colorado College Division III student-athletes will be profiled on CCTigers.com and the athletics social media platforms.
Approximately 320 of the nation's 200,000 Division III student-athletes attend Colorado College and that group has combined for a 3.68 grade-point average during the 2025-26 academic year. Several of those student-athletes also participate in other extracurricular activities at the school as well as community service projects in Colorado Springs.
