The No. 19 Colorado College women's tennis team won its eighth straight match and remained perfect in the SCAC Sunday morning with a 7-0 victory over LeTourneau University at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.
The Tigers (15-3, 8-0 SCAC) lost just one game in sweeping the three doubles matches for a 1-0 lead.
Lucia Moravek and
Aspen Young at No. 1 and
Lindsay Popeo and
Avery Hickman at No. 3 won their match, 6-0.
CC, which has won all eight SCAC matches by a 7-0 score, then captured all six singles matches in straight sets, including three matches that ended 6-0, 6-0.
The Tigers return to action on Thursday, April 16, against UC Santa Cruz in Frisco, Texas, beginning at 6 p.m. (CT).
