Five Tigers To Compete at Bryan Clay Invite

Five athletes from the Colorado College track & field teams will compete at the Bryan Clay Invite, April 16-18, in Azusa, Calif.
 
Who Is Running What? 
Junior Charlie Flint will run the 10K on Thursday, April 16, at 7 a.m. (PT), while senior Alison Mueller-Hickler will run the 5K on Friday, April 17. Seniors Allison Barker and Rabbit Barnes will each compete in the 1500 while senior Josh Williams will double in the 200 and 400 on Saturday, April 18.

Last Time Out
The Tigers competed at the War Hawk Classic in Abilene, Texas, and the Kit Mayer Classic in Golden, Colo., last Saturday.
 
For the women, at the Kit Mayer Classic, hosted by Colorado School of Mines, Abby Goodfried won the 1500 race with a time of 4:43.74, while Barker finished second in the 800 in 2:15.87 and Mary Cate Kiser was fourth in the 3,000 steeplechase in 12:04.04.  
 
Abby Goulas placed seventh in the 800 in 2:22.49 and Tessa Olsen was eighth in the 5K with a time of 19:51.77.
 
At the War Hawk Classic, Jane Keenan placed second in the high jump with a leap of 5'00.25" and Thalia Goessling finished third in the 400 with a time of 58.75 seconds. Keely Lueckeman (Javelin), Kiara Martin (pole vault) and Emma Jones (high jump) each captured a fifth-place finish.
 
On the men's side, at the War Hawk Classic, hosted by McMurry University, Oliver Smeal posted CC's best result with a second-place finish in the javelin with a heave of 189'11". Owen Shi placed seventh in the shot put with a toss of 47'.25", while Jonah Greenberg was ninth in the triple jump with a leap of 42'11.75".
 
At the Kit Mayer Classic, hosted by Colorado School of Mines, Vincent Mangat finished third in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 9:41.91, while Williams placed fifth in the 400 in 48.19 and Diego Escalte seventh in the 5K in 15:50.78. Huck Whittemore was 11th in the 800 with a time of 1:%7.17, while Mack Levy's time of 4:04.44 was good for 13th in the 1500

The Tigers will travel to Abilene, Texas, for the SCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, April 24-26.
