Sam Rich earned the first win of his career as the Colorado College men's lacrosse team defeated Adrian College, 21-8, Saturday in Adrian, Mich.

Pope added an assist for a game-high five points, while
Matt Hudson (3g,1a) and
Matthew Collina (2g,2a) each shipped in with four points.

Pope scored midway through the first period to give CC a 4-0 lead, then collected three consecutive goals through the middle of the second period to make it 9-1, en route to a 13-2 halftime advantage.

Rich, meanwhile, made seven saves in just over 40 minutes of action before giving way to
Jackson Lesher.

The Tigers (11-2) outshot the Bulldogs, 64-28, including a 44-17 advantage in shots on goal. CC forced 19 turnovers and held a 19-12 lead in faceoffs.
