Colorado College swept the SCAC track honors as seniors Rabbit Barnes and Allison Barker were named the league's Male and Female Athlete of the Week, respectively.
 
Barnes, from Los Olivos, Calif., posted the third-fastest time in Division III and broke his own school record in the 1500 at the Bryan Clay Invite. He finished the 'Invite' section of the 1500-meters, primarily consisting of Division I and II runners, in 64th place with a time of 3:44.60, breaking his own school record of 3:49.04.
 
Meanwhile, Barker, from Bethesda, Md., finished 20th in the 'Open B' section of the 1,500 at the Bryan Clay Invite, crossing the line with a personal best time of 4:31.31. Her time is the fastest in the SCAC and currently the 18th-fastest time across all of Division III.
 
Barnes and Barker will join their teammates at the SCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, April 24-26, in Abilene, Texas.
