Sophomore Oliver Smeal and freshman Jonah Greenberg each posted a second-place result to earn all-conference honors on the first day of the 2026 SCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday in Abilene, Texas.
 
Smeal finished runner-up in the javelin with a toss of 200' 9", while Greenberg put together a personal-best distance of 23' 2" in the long jump, the 29^th-best jump in Division III this season.
 
Sophomores Easton Capser and Griffin Stewart placed sixth in the javelin (personal-best 157' 11") and 17^th in the long jump (20' 1.75"), respectively.
 
The Tigers will continue the SCAC Championships on Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m. (CT).
