The Colorado College volleyball program extended its tradition of excellence in the classroom by earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 13
th year in a row.
CC, which was recognized for the 22
nd time since the award was first presented at the conclusion of the 1992-93 academic year, is tied for 12th all-time among all Division III programs.
The Tigers are among 266 Division III teams that were honored for recording a minimum combined 3.30 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
"Earning this academic award is a reflection of our players' commitment, discipline, and dedication to success in the classroom as well as in competition," interim head coach
Nikki Binetti said. " I am incredibly proud of what they've accomplished together."
Colorado College, which posted a combined 3.65 GPA, finished the 2025-26 season with a 23-8 record and the SCAC tournament title. The Tigers open the '26-27 campaign against Augustana in the Pikes Peak Challenge on Friday, Sept. 4, at Reid Arena.
