CC Earns AVCA Academic Team Award For 13th Consecutive Season

The Colorado College volleyball program extended its tradition of excellence in the classroom by earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 13th year in a row.

CC, which was recognized for the 22nd time since the award was first presented at the conclusion of the 1992-93 academic year, is tied for 12th all-time among all Division III programs.

The Tigers are among 266 Division III teams that were honored for recording a minimum combined 3.30 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.

"Earning this academic award is a reflection of our players' commitment, discipline, and dedication to success in the classroom as well as in competition," interim head coach Nikki Binetti said. " I am incredibly proud of what they've accomplished together."

Colorado College, which posted a combined 3.65 GPA, finished the 2025-26 season with a 23-8 record and the SCAC tournament title. The Tigers open the '26-27 campaign against Augustana in the Pikes Peak Challenge on Friday, Sept. 4, at Reid Arena.
