Tigers Look to Bounce Back at Denver

The Colorado College Tigers continue their season long road trip on Thursday when they travel north up I-25 to take on the Denver Pioneers at DU Soccer Stadium. The match is set for a 7 p.m. Mountain Time kickoff and will be broadcast live on ESPN+...

The Tigers are looking for a bounce back performance after enduring a 6-0 loss to Oklahoma on Sunday, and set their sights on the Pioneers who are still in search of their maiden victory in 2026.

ABOUT DENVER
DU comes into the match with a 0-3-0 record after beginning their season on the road for three matches. They have two 1-0 losses already losing by a goal to both Colorado State, and Northwestern. They did find the net in a 2-1 loss at DePaul last week, but the strike is their only offensive output of the season so far. The Pioneers had their season opener at Northern Colorado cut short as a weather system postponed the game to August 30th after 19 minutes of action in Greely.

SERIES HISTORY
Colorado College and Denver have one of the oldest college rivalries which is best known for their showdowns on the ice rink dating back to the early 20th century. However, they have met just eleven times on the pitch, with the Tigers holding a 5-4-2 record over the Pioneers.
