Summit, NJ, October 15, 2026 - Kiswe today announced, in partnership with the Mountain West Conference, that MW+, the Conference's direct-to-consumer streaming platform, is now available with a subscription through Prime Video.
Announced earlier this year, MW+ launching on Prime Video with a subscription provides customers a single-click way to subscribe through their Amazon accounts, increasing access to the Mountain West's athletic programs and student-athletes. It adds over 1,000 annual live Mountain West events across 21 collegiate sports to Prime Video's growing sports offering, while allowing the Conference to retain control of its media rights.
"The addition of MW+ to Prime Video is an exciting step forward and reflects our commitment to delivering innovative experiences for Mountain West fans," said Mountain West Commissioner Gloria Nevarez. "By expanding distribution through one of the world's leading streaming services, we can introduce Mountain West competition to new audiences while creating greater visibility for our student-athletes. Increased access and visibility fuels increased exposure, and that exposure opens doors for our institutions, strengthens our brand, and helps our student-athletes reach more fans than ever before."
Launched this July, the Kiswe-powered MW+ streaming platform features live and on-demand video, interactive viewing features, and distribution across web, mobile, and connected-TV devices. Dedicated branded experiences unique to each member school allow subscribers to select a school to support when they create an account, enabling MW+ to offer a unique revenue-sharing financial model where athletic programs directly benefit from each new user.
"Fans shouldn't have to hunt for the content they care about," said Glenn Booth, CEO of Kiswe. "Integrating MW+ with Prime Video means Mountain West fans can find live games from their favorite school on a service they already use, while also giving Prime Video customers access to thousands of events a year they didn't have access to yesterday. Everybody wins."
In addition to Prime Video, MW+ is available on the web, iPhone and Android mobile devices, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. Fans can subscribe directly for $10.99 per month or $79.99 per year at watch.themw.com.
About the Mountain West
Since its founding in 1999, the Mountain West has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence in intercollegiate athletics while advancing the academic missions of its member institutions. Central to that mission is the holistic development of our student-athletes—championing their success not only in competition but also in the classroom and in their personal growth. Beginning with the 2026–27 season, the Mountain West will feature a comprehensive membership model that brings together full-time, all-sport institutions alongside select sport-specific members. The Conference's all-sport members—United States Air Force Academy; University of Hawai'i at Manoa; University of Nevada, Reno; University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of New Mexico; San José State University; University of Texas at El Paso, and University of Wyoming, will compete across the full Mountain West portfolio, including football. University of California, Davis, and Grand Canyon University will join as all-sport members outside of football, while Colorado College (women's soccer), North Dakota State University (football), Northern Illinois University (football and women's gymnastics), and Utah Tech University (baseball and men's soccer) will compete as affiliate members in designated sports.
