Colorado College extended its winning streak to four matches by recording back-to-back sweeps against Hendrix College and Oglethorpe University on Saturday in the Rhodes Invitational.
The Tigers didn't lose a set while improving their season record to 7-9. CC also is making a case for a higher seed at next weekend's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in North Little Rock, Ark.
Britt Swenson won both of her matches at No. 1 singles and teamed with Jordan Evans for a pair of victories at No. 1 doubles. Swenson improved to 8-7 in individual matches by winning for the seventh time in her last eight matches.
Deanna Thirkell lost just one game during two singles contests and extended her winning streak to six matches. Thirkell and Tori Marsh improved to 7-2 in doubles play with their fourth straight victory.
Natalie Donnelly and Erin Yamamoto posted their fifth consecutive doubles victory and lead the team with in wins with an 8-6 record.
Sally Bryant improved to 3-0 this weekend, winning 36 of 40 individual games.
Colorado College faces host Rhodes College on Sunday in its final tune-up for the SCAC Championships.
