Pack the House for CC basketball

The Colorado College basketball teams play a pair of crucial Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference games this weekend and Tiger fans are invited to 'Pack the House' on Friday night and Sunday afternoon to help give CC a home-court advantage when Hendrix College and Millsaps College invade J. Juan Reid Gymnasium.

The action begins on Friday at 6 p.m. when the Colorado College women take on division-leading Hendrix. The Tigers are battling for a spot in the SCAC Tournament and a victory over the Warriors could help Colorado College climb to as high as third place in the standings.

The second half of the doubleheader tips off at 8 p.m. when the men's team attempts to lock up the second seed in the division and put pressure on first-place Trinity University.

CC will be back in action on Sunday, starting at noon with a must-win game for the women against Millsaps. The Tigers currently trail the Majors by one game and need a victory to earn a split in the season series and claim the tie-breaker.

Already assured of its first-ever spot in the conference tournament, the Colorado College men's team looks to build momentum with a victory in the regular-season finale against Millsaps.

Admission for all four games is free, and the first 100 fans in attendance each day will receive a voucher good for up to two (2) $5 tickets to the Colorado College-Minnesota Duluth hockey games on Feb. 25 or 26 at the World Arena.

Reid Gymnasium is located inside the El Pomar Sports Center on the CC campus at 44 West Cache la Poudre Street.
