Colorado College opened its spring season at home against Division II Colorado State University-Pueblo on Saturday afternoon at the newly renovated Burghardt Tennis Courts.

CC fell behind early when it dropped its first two doubles matches, but gained a point from junior

Maggie Harwood, who beat Teresa Haro and Toni Alvarez, 8-5, at the No. 2 spot.
After CSU-Pueblo picked up its third point by winning at No. 5 singles, junior
Katie Patterson went into extra sets to earn a 2-6, 6-1, 10-6 victory at No. 2.
With the Tigers down 3-2, the Thunderwolves sealed the match with No. 1 and 3 singles triumphs.

Caila Criss earned the final point for Colorado College with a hard-fought win at No. 4 singles, defeating Alvarez in extra sets, 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.
Colorado College resumes action at home on Friday, playing host to Division II Colorado Christian University at 3 p.m.
