School hasn't even started yet, but the 2014-15 Colorado College hockey season is starting to take shape as the staff at the Broadmoor World Arena has placed the logos and poured the ice surface.
Approximately 12,000 gallons of water will produce a one and a half inch surface of ice to accommodate not only CC, but several other hockey entities that play at the arena.
The Tigers, under the leadership of first-year head coach
Mike Haviland, open the campaign on Sunday, Oct. 5 with an exhibition game against McGill University at the World Arena. Colorado College, entering its second season in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, will host Alabama-Huntsville in the regular-season opener on Friday, Oct. 10. Â
