Colorado College looks to regain its scoring touch when the Tigers hit the road for Mountain West contests at Boise State University and Utah State University.
CC makes its first-ever trip to Boise, Idaho, to face the Broncos on Friday, Oct. 16, at 4 p.m. MT. Two days later, the Tigers visit Logan, Utah, to face Utah State at 1 p.m. PT.
Colorado College is 6-8-1 overall and 4-2-0 in the conference after falling to Fresno State (1-0) and San Jose State (2-0) at home last week. The Tigers are 2-1-1 overall on the road this season, which includes a 2-0 mark in the MW.
Eleven of CC's 15 games have been decided by one goal or less this season. With a 4-1 record in the five most recent one-goal contests, the Tigers are now 6-4-1 in those contests. Colorado College has gone to overtime on five occasions and now is 2-2-1 in extra time after recording back-to-back wins over Colorado State and Wyoming.
Boise State improved to 5-7-3 overall and 3-3-0 in in league play with a pair of victories last week. The Broncos defeated UNLV, 4-0, at home on Friday, and then cruised to a 3-1 win at Nevada on Sunday. BSU is 3-1-1 at home this year.
Utah State slipped to 7-7-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the Mountain West after dropping a pair of games on the road a week ago. The Aggies dropped a 3-1 decision at Nevada on Friday, and then fell 3-0 at UNLV on Sunday. USU takes a 4-2-0 home record into Friday's game against Air Force.  Â
The series between Colorado College and Boise State is deadlocked at 1-1, with both previous games being played at Stewart Field. The Broncos prevailed, 3-1, in the first meeting on Aug. 29, 2010, but the Tigers evened the score last season with a 3-1 victory on the opening weekend of Mountain West play.
The series with Utah State is tied at 1-1-2. Last year, the team's battled to a 1-1 draw in CC's conference debut on Sept. 26 at Stewart Field. At the Mountain West Championship, the Tigers scored three consecutive goals to record a 3-1 opening-round victory. The teams played to a 1-1 draw in the only previous meeting in Logan. Â

Sarah Schweiss continues to lead Colorado College with six goals and 14 points, and is tied for second with a pair of assists. Freshman midfielder
Lauren Milliet is next with three goals and eight points, while freshman midfielder
Rae Conlon has a team-high three assists.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Louisa Mackenzie has played all 1392:49 in goal and owns a .756 saves percentage along with a 1.36 goals-against average. The back line is anchored by seniors
Samantha Curran and
Alexis Long.
The Tigers play at home for the final times this season when the University of New Mexico and San Diego State University visit Stewart Field on Friday, Oct. 23, and Sunday, Oct. 25, respectively. CC closes out the regular season at the Air Force Academy on Friday, Oct. 30.
