The Colorado College women's tennis team wrapped up its 2015 regular season with a 5-4 upset victory over Texas Lutheran Sunday in Seguin, Texas. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 7-8 record, while TLU, ranked 15
th in the Division III West Region, fell to 10-6.

CC took a 2-1 lead after the doubles matches with wins at the Nos. 2 and 3 positions. Senior
Maggie Harwood and sophomore
Maddie Cahill-Sanidas defeated Brooke Taylor and Joni Baxley, 8-4, at No. 2, while freshmen
Natalia Dellavalle and
Anna Smith won at No. 3, 8-6, over Caitlin Zarr and Megan Ingram.

Harwood downed Taylor, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 4 spot, but TLU evened the team match at 3-all by winning at the top two spots. Dellavalle handled Caitlin Zarr, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 and sophomore
Gillian Hyde clinched the match for the Tigers with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at the No. 6 spot over Megan Ingram.

Anthony Weber said. "Gillian played one of the best matches of the season to clinch."

The Tigers travel to San Antonio, Texas for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships, April 24-26. The brackets will be announced later this week.Â
