Colorado College kicks off its second Mountain West campaign with its first ever games in the state of Nevada. The Tigers visit the University of Nevada in Reno on Friday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. PT, then travels to Las Vegas on Sunday, Sept. 27, to face UNLV at 1 p.m. PT.
CC is 2-6-1 after splitting its final two non-conference games last week at Stewart Field. The Tigers defeated Cal State Bakersfield, 2-0, on Friday, but dropped a 2-0 decision to Baylor University two days later. Colorado College is 0-1-1 on the road so far this season.
The Wolf Pack improved to 3-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 at home with a pair of one-goal victories last week. Nevada defeated the University of Hawai'i, 3-2, on Friday and wrapped up the week with a 1-0 win over Sacramento State on Sunday. The Rebels are 4-3-0 overall and 3-1-0 at home heading into Friday night's game against Air Force. UNLV defeated Hawai'i, 3-1, and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, 4-1.
The Tigers defeated Nevada, 3-0, last season at Stewart Field in the only previous meeting between the programs. Colorado College is 1-0-1 against UNLV, including a 2-0 victory last year in Colorado Springs.
Colorado College averages 0.78 goals per contest this season, while allowing 1.78. Freshman midfielder
Lauren Milliet leads the team with three goals and seven points, and is second with 20 shots. Senior midfielder
Sarah Schweiss, who has a team-high 36 shots, leads CC with two assists and is second with four points.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Louisa Mackenzie has played all 845:54 in goal and owns a .709 saves percentage along with a 1.70 goals-against average. The defense is anchored by seniors
Samantha Curran and
Alexis Long.
Eleven underclassmen have been in the starting lineup during Colorado College's first seven matches. Mackenzie, a sophomore, along with freshmen
Madison Tominello and Milliet, have started every game.
The other second-year Tigers who have been on the field for the first whistle include

Maddi Dunn.
Rae Conlon,
Rachael Martino,
Clara Richter and
Kelli Sullivan are the other first-year players who have started at least once.
CC begins a four-game Mountain West home stand with contests against Colorado State University on Friday, Oct. 2, and the University of Wyoming on Sunday, Oct. 4. The following week, the Tigers play host to Fresno State and San Jose State University on Oct. 9 and 11, respectively.
