Colorado College kicks off its third season in the Mountain West with road games at two of the three teams that were picked by the league's head coaches to finish atop the conference's regular-season table.

The Tigers visit the University of New Mexico  on Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m., and then travel to California to face San Diego State University on Sunday at noon PT.

Fans can watch both of this week's matches for free on the Mountain West Network (www.themw.com/page/watch-live).

CC completed the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 4-4-0 ledger after splitting a pair of matches at home last week. The Tigers defeated UMass Lowell, 1-0, on Friday afternoon, but fell 3-2 in overtime against Northern Arizona University on Sunday.

New Mexico enters Friday's clash with a 4-2-2 record after defeating New Mexico State University, 2-0, in its first home game of the season last Friday. The Lobos are 4-0-2 since losing at then-No. 21 California on Aug. 26.

San Diego State enters Friday's game against Air Force with a 2-5-0 record after suffering a 1-0 setback against then-No. 24 Texas Tech on Sunday.

Colorado College owns a 6-4-0 lead in the all-time series with New Mexico, which includes a 3-2-0 edge in games played in Albuquerque. Last year, the Lobos prevailed, 1-0, at Stewart Field for their first victory over CC since 1997.

San Diego State holds a 4-1-2 lead in the series with the Tigers. The Aztecs defeated CC 3-1 at Stewart Field on Oct. 25 and then 2-0 less than two weeks later in the semifinals of the Mountain West Championship.

Colorado College, which is 2-3-0 away from home, averages 1.25 goals per game while allowing 1.38. The Tigers are led by sophomore forward Clara Richter, who has a team-high five goals and 10 points. Senior forward Dana Gornick and sophomore midfielder Lauren Milliet are tied for second with two goals and five points apiece.

Freshman Molly Hiniker is 3-3-0 in net with a 1.50 goals against average and a .719 saves percentage.

CC plays its first Mountain West home games next week when Boise State University and Utah State University visit Stewart Field on Friday, Sept. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 2, respectively.
