The Colorado College women's tennis team wrapped up its 2017 spring break trip with an 8-1 victory over the University of Puget Sound Tuesday evening in Tacoma, Wash.

The Tigers (5-7) won at the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles positions to take an early 2-1 lead. Senior
Maddie Cahill-Sanidas and sophomore
Madison Doerre defeated Elizabeth Chao and Bridget Myers, 8-2, at the No. 2 spot, while sophomore
Simone Hall and freshman
Caroline James downed Tressa Bild and Barclay Fagg, 8-3, at No. 3.

CC kept up the momentum in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets, led by freshman
Jenna McDonald, who beat Chao, 6-4, 6-4, at the top spot. Sophomore
Annie Zlevor won 7-5, 6-1 at the No. 4 position, while Doerre and fellow freshman
Morgan Smith each won by a 6-3, 6-0 score at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively.

The Tigers return to action on Friday, March 31 against Colorado Mesa at home beginning at 3:30 p.m.
