The Colorado College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Division II Colorado Mesa University Thursday in Colorado Springs.

CMU jumped out to an early 3-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. Kristen and Katie Kirby downed freshman
Jenna McDonald and sophomore
Annie Zlevor, 8-2, at the No. 1 position, while Nicole Kitsuse and Georgia Hanson beat freshman
Caroline James and sophomore
Simone Hall bu the same score at No. 3. Taylor Hershey and Emily Beckley completed the sweep with an 8-1 victory over senior
Maddie Cahill-Sanidas and sophomore
Madison Doerre at the No. 2 spot.
The Tigers (5-8) lost five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Cahill-Sanidas produced the only three-set match before falling to Hershey, 6-3, 1-6, 1-0(5) at the No. 4 position. Â Â
