Box Score Ten Tigers scored at least once as Colorado College erupted for its highest offensive output of the year in a 25-9 victory over Pomona-Pitzer Colleges on Sunday afternoon.
Junior attacker
Annie DeFrino struck for a team-high five goals and increased her season total to 55, one more than she recorded last year.

Ellie Meyer and freshman attacker
Eva King scored for times for the Tigers, who improved to 12-2 on the season.

Steph Kelly added three goals apiece for CC.
Kelly added four assists to match DeFrino's game-high total of seven. Kelly climbed into third place on the program's all-time list with 226 career points and now is just 10 behind Cassie Abel's (2002-05) second-place total. Mary Everett (1996-99) holds the career record with 252.
Junior midfielder
Sadie Cole added two goals and three assists for the Tigers.
DeFrino and Taussig each scored twice as Colorado College raced to an early 5-1 lead. The Tigers led 12-4 with 9:09 remaining in the first half, but Pomona-Pitzer scored three consecutive goals to slice its deficit to five with 5:11 to go before halftime.
CC put an end to any thoughts of a Sagehen comeback when DeFrino and Kelly struck for two goals apiece during a span of 3:02 to give the Tigers a 16-7 lead after 30 minutes.
The Tigers tacked on four more goals early in the second half before Pomona-Pitzer scored their final two of the contest. Colorado College closed out the game on a 5-0 run
CC finished with a 24-8 advantage in ground balls and a 23-15 edge in draw controls.
Colorado College launched 50 shots, compared to just 14 for the Sagehens.
The final margin would have been greater had it not been for the performance of goaltender Annie Price, who made 16 saves for Pomona-Pitzer.
Rebecca Long scored three goals for the Sagehens, while Christian Rowe added a pair.
Junior goaltender
Zoe Frolik stopped four shots while going the distance for the Tigers.
DeFrino and Taussig led CC with four ground balls apiece, while Kelly recorded a game-high eight draw controls. Â Â
Colorado College is idle until Thursday, April 20, when it travels to Waterville, Maine, to face Colby College.
