The Colorado College women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season Sunday with a 9-0 victory over Texas Lutheran in Seguin, Texas.
 
The Tigers were dominant from the start, handily winning all three doubles matches. Freshmen 
Jenna McDonald and 
Caroline James started things off with an 8-4 victory over Alli McLain and Madison Dyer at the No. 1 position. Sophomores 
Annie Zlevor and 
Simone Hall followed suit with an 8-3 triumph at the No. 2 spot, while senior 
Maddie Cahill-Sanidas and sophomore 
Madison Doerre won the No. 3 match, 8-2.
 
Colorado College kept the momentum in singles play, with McDonald and Doerre each winning in three sets. McDonald defeated McLain, 6-2, 4-6, 1-0(8), at the No. 1 singles spot, while Doerre rallied from a set down to beat Brooke Taylor, 4-6, 6-2, 1-0(8). The Tigers won the other four matches in straight sets.
 
Colorado College (8-11) opens the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Friday, April 28, in San Antonio, Texas. The seedings and brackets will be announced later in the week.
