With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, six crucial points will be on the line as the Colorado College women's soccer team travels to San Diego State University and the University of New Mexico for its final two Mountain West road games. CC faces the Aztecs on Friday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m. PT at the Sports Deck, and then jets to Albuquerque for a Sunday showdown with the Lobos at noon.

Colorado College, currently fifth in the Mountain West table, is 8-5-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the conference after splitting a pair of home games last week. The Tigers defeated Utah State University, 1-0, on Friday, but dropped a 1-0 result to Boise State University two days later. CC is 2-3-1 on the road this season, which includes a 1-2-1 mark in MW play.

San Diego State is 5-9-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the Mountain West, and is tied for sixth in the conference after also splitting two road games last week. The Aztecs defeated Utah State, 2-1, on Friday, but fell 2-0 at UNLV on Sunday. SDSU is 2-4-1 at home this season, with a 1-1-1 record in MW games.

New Mexico climbed into a tied for third place in the conference table after going 1-0-1 on the road last week. The Lobos played to a 3-3 draw at UNLV on Friday and then rolled over the University of Nevada, 5-1, on Sunday. UNM is 6-1-1 at home this season, including a 2-1-1 mark in conference matches.

San Diego State holds a 5-2-2 lead in the series with Colorado College, but the Tigers won the most recent meeting, 2-1, last year in Colorado Springs. CC is looking for its first win in San Diego, where the Aztecs are 5-0-2 against the Tigers.

Colorado College owns a 7-5-0 lead in the series with New Mexico. However, since CC began competing in the Mountain West in 2014, the teams have split the four previous meetings with the visitors prevailing each time. The Tigers are 4-2-0 all-time in Albuquerque.

Lauren Milliet leads the Tigers with four goals and 12 points, and shares the team high of four assists with junior midfielder

Tayla Wheeler is second on the team with three goals and third with six points. Freshman forward
Abby Hubbard now is fourth with five points and tied for fourth with a pair of goals.

Camille Weaver anchor the CC defense which has conceded more than two goals only once this season. In fact, only three teams have scored more than once, including then-No. 5 Texas A&M on Sept. 7. The Aggies entered that game averaging more than three goals per game and had scored three or more on five of six occasions.

Jade Odom has played every minute in goal and owns a 0.83 goals-against average and a .797 saves percentage.

San Diego State averages 0.88 goals per game while conceding 1.50. Eleven players have scored goals for the Aztecs, led by freshman midfielder Laura Fuentes, freshman forward Taylor Moorehead and sophomore midfielder Phoebe Leitch who have two apiece. Junior Gabby English has played all 1,480 minutes in goal and owns a 1.46 GAA and a .765 saves ratio.

New Mexico, which leads the Mountain West in scoring, averages 2.20 goals per match while allowing 1.40. Sophomore forward Gwen Maly owns a team-leading six goals and 12 points, while junior midfielder Jessie Hix is right behind with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Junior Emily Johnson is 4-5-2 in goal and has a 1.60 GAA and a .740 saves percentage.Â

Colorado College plays its final game of the regular season on Friday, Oct. 26, when Air Force visits Stewart Field. The game kicks off at 3 p.m. MT.
