The Colorado College women's tennis team captured its second consecutive victory during its 2018 spring break trip with a 5-4 victory over the 36th-ranked team in the country, Hope College, Saturday in Orlando, Fla.

The Tigers (5-8) won two of the three doubles matches, including a thrilling, 9-8(10) win by
Simone Hall and
Tess Rubin over Erin LaBarge and Natalie Rahrig at the No. 3 position.
Allie Burak and
Jenna McDonald won the No. 1 match, 8-5, over Amanda Bandrowski and Bailey Chorney.

The No. 3 doubles match proved to be huge as the teams split the six singles contests. Rubin led the way with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Taylor LaBarge at the No. 3 spot, while
Annie Zlevor and
Madison Doerre won the No. 5 and No. 6 match, respectively, in straight sets.
