The Division II Colorado Mesa women's tennis team posted a 7-2 victory over Colorado College Thursday afternoon in Colorado Springs.

Jenna McDonald were edged by Emily Beckley and Rebecca Osterberg, 9-7, at the No. 1 position.

McDonald was the only Tiger to collect a singles victory by defeating Osterberg, 6-2, 6-2, at the No. 2 spot. James stretched Hershey to the limit at No. 3 before falling 6-1, 5-7, 1-0(4). Colorado Mesa won the other four matches in straight sets.

Colorado College's weekend trip to Nebraska for matches against Coe College and Hastings College has been cancelled due to impending weather. The Tigers will close out the 2017-18 regular season on Sunday, April 15, against Metro State at home, beginning at 10 a.m.
