Colorado College kicks off its 11-game Mountain West schedule this week with a pair of games in California. The Tigers visit defending regular-season champion San Jose State University on Friday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 p.m. PT, and then travel to Fresno State two days later for a match that starts at noon PT.

Fans can watch this week's games for free on the Tiger Sports Network (https://cctigers.com/) or the Mountain West Network (http://www.themw.com/index.aspx).

Colorado College will take a 4-2-0 record into Friday's game at San Jose State after defeating the University of Houston, 2-1 in double overtime, on Sunday, Sept. 16. The Tigers are 2-1-0 on the road this season, with both victories occurring during the first week of the season in the Colorado Cup.

CC opened with a 2-1 win at the University of Northern Colorado, and then blanked arch rival University of Denver, 2-0, in Boulder. Colorado College's only road loss was a 2-1 setback at then- No. 5 Texas A&M University.

SJSU slipped to 1-4-2 overall with a 1-0 loss at UC Riverside last Friday. The Spartans are 1-2-1 at home, having defeated UC Davis, 1-0 in double overtime, on Sept. 14.

Fresno State will take a 1-6-1 overall mark and a 1-3-0 home record into Friday's game at the United States Air Force Academy. The Bulldogs have dropped five in a row, including two at home, since playing Sacramento State to a 2-2 draw on Aug. 24.

The Tigers are looking for their first-ever victory over San Jose State on Friday. The Spartans have won all four previous meetings with CC, including a 3-1 victory last season at Stewart Field.

Fresno State holds a 3-1-1 lead in the series with Colorado College after prevailing 3-1 last year in Colorado Springs. Colorado College posted a 2-1 victory in its only previous trip to Fresno in 2014. In the first meeting between the two programs in 2011, the Tigers and Bulldogs battled to a 1-1 draw in a non-conference contest at Stewart Field.

Senior midfielder Lauren Milliet leads the Tigers with seven points and shares the team lead with sophomore defender Tayla Wheeler at two goals apiece. Senior forward Rae Conlon, junior forward Catie  McDonald, junior midfielders Lucia Costanza and Madeline Stesney, and freshmen forwards Jacqui Hand and Abby Hubbard, also have scored for CC this season. Costanza owns a team-leading three assists, two of which set up game winners, and is second with five points.

Sophomore Jade Odom has played all 551:39 in goal and owns a 0.98 goals-against average and a .800 saves percentage.

Hubbard struck for her first collegiate goal 1:39 into the second overtime to give Colorado College a 2-1 victory over the University of Houston on Sunday afternoon. Hubbard scored on a header from the center of the box off of a cross from Milliet who was on the right side. CC broke through in the 14th minute when Stesney pounced on a Cougar clearing attempt near the top of the box and drilled a low shot into the left side of the net for her first career goal. Houston tied the game on an own goal with two seconds remaining in the first half.

Odom matched her season high with five saves, the last of which was a diving stop in the 88th minute to keep the score level. CC accumulated a 27-10 advantage in total shots and a 10-3 edge in corner kicks.

Head coach Geoff Bennett earned career victory No. 200 last Sunday against Houston. Bennett, who posted a combined 48-41-10 record during five seasons at St. Bonaventure University (1998-2000) and the University of Rhode Island (2001-02), owns a career record of 200-140-47 (.578).

Now is in his 15th season at Colorado College, Bennett picked up win No. 150 with the Tigers on Aug. 24 when CC defeated Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, 2-0, at Stewart Field. His record at CC currently stands at 152-99-37 (.592). In addition to a pair of appearances in the Mountain West Championship, Bennett has guided the Tigers to three NCAA tournament bids.

Next week, Colorado College plays host to UNLV and the University of Nevada next week in its first home conference matches of the season. The Rebels visit Stewart field on Friday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. MT, while the Tigers and Wolfpack meet at noon MT on Sunday, Sept. 30.
