Colorado College faces its stiffest test of the 2018 non-conference schedule when the Tigers travel to the Lone Star State to face Texas A&M University on Friday, Sept. 7, in College Station and Lamar University on Sunday at noon in Beaumont.
CC's showdown with the No. 5-ranked Aggies kicks off at 8 p.m. CT at Ellis Field (capacity 3,500), while Sunday's encounter with the Cardinals is scheduled for a noon CT start the Lamar Soccer Complex (capacity 500).

Colorado College enters Friday's encounter with a 3-1-0 record after dropping a 2-1 decision to Columbia University on Friday, Aug. 31. The loss snapped CC's season-opening three-game winning streak, the program's longest since 2005 when the Tigers began the season with five consecutive victories. Colorado College enters Friday's game with a 2-0-0 record away from home this season.
Texas A&M improved to 6-0-0 with a 4-0 victory over then-No. 9 Santa Clara University last Sunday. The Aggies are 4-0 at home this season, having outscored their opponents by a combined score of 12-1. Lamar slipped to 3-3 after falling to LSU, 3-0, on Tuesday night at home. The Cardinals are now 3-1 on their home pitch.
Colorado College owns a 2-1-1 lead in the all-time series with Texas A&M. The Tigers recorded a 3-0 victory in the first meeting on Oct. 7, 1984, in Colorado Springs and then a 1-0 win almost a year later at home. The Aggies prevailed 2-0 in the most recent meeting on Sept. 21, 2003, in a neutral-site game played at Southern Methodist University on Dallas. Sunday's game between CC and Lamar will be the first meeting between the programs.

Texas A&M, which has outscored its opponents 19-1, averages 3.17 goals per game while conceding 0.17. Junior forward Ally Watt leads the Aggies with six goals and 12 points, while junior midfielder Grace Piper (2G/1A) and senior defender Kendall Ritchie (1G/3a) are second with five points apiece. Ritchie and freshman midfielder Kendall Bates have a team-high three assists. Senior Cosette Morche has played all 540 minutes in goal and owns a .944 saves percentage.
Lamar averages 2.80 goals per game while allowing 1.40. Senior forward Kelso Peskin leads the Cardinals with five goals and 10 points, while sophomore forwards Madison Ledel (3G/1A) and Lucy Ashworth (2G/3A) are tied for second with seven points. Ashworth has a team-high three assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Jocelyn Hanrath has played all 540 minutes for Lamar and owns a 1.67 GAA and a .714 saves ratio.
Colorado College concludes its seven-game non-conference schedule against the University of Houston on Sunday, Sept. 16, at Stewart Field. The following week, the Tigers travel to San Jose State University and Fresno State for their first Mountain West games of the season.
