Tigers Drop 7-2 Decision to Grinnell

Despite winning the top two singles matches, the Colorado College women's tennis team fell to Grinnell College, 7-2, Wednesday at the USTA Tennis Center in Orlando, Fla.

Grinnell swept the three doubles matches, though the Tigers' top team of seniors Annie Zlevor and Simone Hall took Abby Nielsen and Judith Fan to the brink before falling 8-7(5).
 
In singles, sophomore Tess Rubin defeated Nielsen, 6-3, 6-1, at the No. 1 position, while Zlevor downed Isabel Green, 6-1, 6-4, at the No. 2 spot.
 
Grinnell won the other four singles matches in straight sets.

The Tigers wrap up their spring break trip on Thursday, March 21 against Hamilton College, beginning at 11:30 a.m. (ET).
