The Colorado College women's tennis team posted its first win of the season Saturday with a 7-2 victory over Hastings College at Lifetime Fitness in Colorado Springs.

The Tigers took an early 2-1 lead with wins at the Nos. 2 and 3 doubles spots. Sophomore

Elise Chassman defeated Megan Waterhouse and Camilla Lee, 6-5(1) at No. 2, while freshmen
Lily Salzman and
Gaby Jadotte downed Lyndsay Ruane and Carolay Strehlow, 6-1, at the No. 3 position.

Hastings' Kelsey Brown won the No. 1 singles match, 7-5, 6-3, over Rubin, but CC won the other five singles matches, including a couple in three sets. Senior
Annie Zlevor defeated Kelsey Flaherty, 7-5, 1-6, 1-0(4) at the No. 2 spot and fellow senior
Simone Hall rallied for a 5-7, 6-3, 1-0(8) victory over Waterhouse at No. 3.
