Tigers Fall to Southwest Minnesota State

The Colorado College women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Southwest Minnesota State Friday afternoon at Burghart Courts.
 
SMSU won all three doubles matches for an early 3-0 lead. Sophomore Tess Rubin and senior Annie Zlevor opened singles play by winning the No. 1 and 2 match, respectively, in three sets. Senior Simone hall won the No. 4 match, 6-3, 6-2 and freshman Lily Salzman won at No. 6, 6-2, 6-1, but SMSU won at No. 3 and No. 5 to clinch the match.
 
The Tigers (0-5) are idle until taking on Bethel University on Sunday, March 17 in Orlando, Fla., to open their spring break trip.
