Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Colorado College women's tennis team split a pair of matches at Memorial Park on Sunday, defeating SCAC foe Austin College, 8-1, and losing to Division II Metro State, 7-0.
 
The Tigers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead against Austin by sweeping the three doubles matches. Olivia Dicks and Magdalene Gonzales edged Gigi Francis and Phoebe Shepard, 9-8, winning the tiebreaker, 7-5, at the No. 1 position. Elizabeth Girian and Keelie Bennett downed Megan Morris and Sierra Thomas, 8-3, at the No. 2 spot, while Gigi Jensen and Malia Rivera blanked Madelin Hiler and Elena Aventa, 8-0, at No. 3.
 
CC won the Nos. 2-6 singles matches in straight sets, including losing no more than one game in four of them, while Rivera defeated Morris, 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 4 spot.
 
In the afternoon match, Metro State swept all nine matches, including all six singles contests in straight sets.
 
The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, April 17, against Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction, Colo., beginning at 2:30 p.m.
