Michael Gorman and junior
Josh Fry each set a school record Friday at the Air Force Twilight Track and Field Meet held at the Air Force Academy.

Gorman broke the record in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.63 seconds, surpassing his own record of 48.82 set at the SCAC Championships on April 25. Gorman finished the race in second place.

Fry, meanwhile, won the 800-meter race in 1:52.66, breaking the previous record of 1:52.69 set by Brad Dsida in 2010.

Junior
Sam Rodriguez finished third in the 1,500 with a time of 4:03.87 while Gorman placed fourth in the 200 in 22.22 seconds.

Other top 10 results for the Tigers included sophomore
Leighton Graham (fifth in the shot put) and junior
Logan Henning (ninth in the pole vault).

On the women's side, junior
Megan Koch placed third in the 800 with a time of 2:28.31, followed by freshmen
Julia Solano (7
th), Lily Blaschke (8
th) and
Jane Mallach (9
th). Solano finished sixth in the 1500, just ahead of freshman
Piper Catlin, sophomore
Zarah Ahmad and first-year runners
Esther Cornish, Mallach and
Amelia McDonald.

Emma Fowkes put together an impressive fifth-place finish in the 400 with a time of 1:01.23, while fellow first-year
Isabella Lutes' time of 13.65 seconds was good for sixth place in the 100-meter dash.
