Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team lost its opening dual match of the 2022-23 campaign, 7-0, to Division II Lubbock Christian Univ., Thursday afternoon at City Park in Pueblo.
 
The Lady Chaps cruised to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches, losing just one game.
 
In singles play, sophomore Christian Heffron put together the Tigers' best performance and battled Anastasia Khrustaleva at the No. 1 singles spot before falling, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0(0).
 
LCU captured the other five matches in straight sets.
 
The Tigers return to action on Friday, Sept. 16, against St. Mary's University at City Park, beginning at 5 p.m.
