Box Score The Colorado College women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Division II St. Mary's Univ., Friday evening at City Park in Pueblo.
 
The Rattlers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead by sweeping the three doubles matches. The Tigers' No. 1 team of senior Olivia Dicks and junior Gig Jensen battled Ashley Penshorn and Kyndall Quiroz to a 6-4 result.
 
In singles play, sophomore Christian Heffron lost to Angela Vargas, 6-4, 6-2, at the No. 1 spot, while sophomore Maddy Meister played an outstanding second set, but fell to Stela Sifuentes, 6-0, 7-5, at the No. 5 position.
 
LCU captured the other four matches in straight sets.
 
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17, against Texas-Permian Basin at City Park, beginning at 9 a.m.
